Your local roller derby league, the London Rollergirls are having a new intake very soon. Info is below. Roller derby: https://youtube/watch?v=p0lI0DF0dsk Please mark your calendars for the upcoming London Rollergirls Recreational League Fresh Meat Course intake starting on Saturday 8th November at Brixton Recreation Centre and running for 20 weeks. The sessions will run every Saturday from 6pm-8pm and will cost £5 per session. It is designed for beginners who are new to skating or new to roller derby (or both!). The following equipment is required to participate in the Fresh Meat Course: Quad roller skates (inlines are not permitted) Helmet Kneepads (preferably ‘vert’ or aggressive pads – you will be doing a number of falling drills) Elbow pads Wrist guards A mouthguard For more information about this course or about the London Rollergirls Recreational League, email us on recleague@londonrollergirls or visit our website: londonrollergirls/rec-league Please note that all skaters must be 18 or older to participate.
