Your opinions matter very little. When something happens which is contrary to your belief you have got two options. You can stick to your opinion and keep running with it despite the fact that it is wrong. Or the second, (and a much smarter and more profitable idea) is to swallow your pride and realize that your opinion does not matter. The only thing that matters when you are trying to build a business or trying to achieve a goal is to do the things which work and let the results speak for themselves.
