Your team managers will be asking to meet with all parents and coaches in the next few days to address our ethics. For the benefit of our kids, lets do our part to keep the game fun, fair and friendly. If you havent seen these, please take a moment to read and pledge to these ethics. Like or comment below to show your support! We wish to emphasize the following points: It is the responsibility of everyone involved in lacrosse to promote good conduct of all team personnel and fans at all lacrosse functions and to ensure respect for all participants, officials and spectators. Abuse of referees, either verbal or physical, will not be tolerated. Coaches must control their benches and assist in the control of their fans. Swearing, vulgar or abusive language will not be tolerated. Players must have helmets on at all times when they are on the floor in order to comply with our insurance policy. MMLC is fully committed to the Fair Play Principles for minor sport as set by the Government of Canada. All participants shall ensure that Fair Play is incorporated into practices and games and that players are taught the importance of honesty, integrity and respect. This is Canadas great game. It has a tradition of being tough, but also a very fair and close-knit sport. All lacrosse players and volunteers are part of a large and respectful community. Lets make sure it is alive and well in Mission.
