Your thoughts... Middle school holds graduation ceremony in a building, which we traditionally call a church. One Muslim family protests saying that their child could not participate because they could not step a foot in the "church" building. 1. How is that a violation of their faith? They are celebrating a graduation not attending a worship service. 2. Muslims attend funeral services in churches all the time, are they in violation for paying their respects? 3. Should a sanctuary be used for this type of gathering? Is this a form of desecration? Or, since God never desired to dwell in a building but in the hearts of his creation, have we elevated the physical building to a sacred level beyond what the Bible prescribes? Talk to me ppl...
