Youve got to read this. Women in Texas will have to show original documents of their citizenship and any change in names (divorce or marriage) in order to vote. Originals, not copies. So what if your divorce decree comes down the week of the election or you get married the week of an election? Will you have the docs to prove your status? Not bloody likely. And it will cost you $20 for the privilege. (More if theyre mailed to you.) Men arent affected.
