ZERO BUDGET REVOLUTION? There is something that I dont understand. This whole zero budget revolution which some EFF members talk about. EFF has never run through a zero budget and never will. People were using their own petrol to attend meetings, functions and rallies. Cars which were transporting you to and from meetings were maintained with money. They dont run with petrol only, you know. People were using their own money to buy t-shirts, berets and other items bearing EFFs name. Members sign-up forms were printed through our own pockets. Millions of rands were spent every month from ordinary peoples pockets. Thats not zero budget. If it is zero budget, then we can say churches and governments are running with zero budgets because they operate exactly the same way. Churches rely on its members and governments rely on its citizens and other stakeholders. In fact, you can find that EFF members, individually spent more than members of other political parties combined.
