Zingle provides a highly creative and supportive environment to showcase your skills on a daily basis. This QA Automation Engineer will own the quality process for our software and hardware platforms, and responsibilities include: • Building and maintaining comprehensive QA guidelines and documentation. • Design and implement an automated test framework to minimize manual testing, and provide pre-release test scripts to prevent regressions. • Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for our hardware and software platforms. • Write test cases for manual testing. • Work closely with software engineering to test mobile and web software applications, and with hardware engineering to test the Zingle hardware platform. • Drive beta testing Required Skills • 2 years of QA • JavaScript development • Experience using Selenium for automated web testing • Knowledge of load testing tools such as Browser Mob and JMeter • Understanding of automated, continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo • Ability to write excellent English documentation in a highly technical capacity • Analytical and creative approach in performing testing scenarios Preferred Skills: Linux, Apache, Bash scripting, PHP, XML, HTML, JSON, SQL MySQL, Distributed Source Control (Git), and experience writing custom automated release tools If you are a self-starter looking for the growth opportunity of a lifetime, possess the skills listed above, and want to live in the gorgeous San Diego region, email your resume to work@zinglenow – Salary: $48,000 to $60,000 per year, DOE.
