ZOE; The God Kind Of Life. (Part 19) It was never Gods intent to relate with us based on written words. Our inner consciousness which had constant fellowship with God was completely awake in the beginning. We could perceive God clearly in our heart and operate our physical existence in that consciousness. We must understand that fundamental matter. The apostle wrote that the things which are written, were written for our training, not for our making. You train something to become better at being what it is, or to unlock some hidden potentials. If we think that the scriptures make us become something we were not, then we will never breakthrough that limiting mindset that makes us see ourselves as inadequate and incomplete, instead of seeing ourselves as who we really are; earthly conduits of God, types of Christ, for He calls us brethren. We are the children of God. The scriptures are meant to train us, or rather to reborn and regenerate the divine essence in us. The work of Christ in us begins that very moment we believe that there is God, and that God took on human flesh in the form of Christ. The real reason for this is very different from what many think. The reason why scripture insisted that one must believe that Jesus Christ was flesh and blood is because, it opens the one who has believed it up to the possibilities of hosting the divine essence just as Christ did. Do not use the scriptures with the mindset of someone using a recipe book, rather use it as someone using a manual. A recipe book tells you what and what you need to add in order to make what you want, but a manual tells you the features, capabilities and nature of a thing, so that you can exploit it to its fullness. The scripture is your manual. The writer of Hebrews spoke about training ones inner consciousness to become as intelligent as ones natural self, to bring oneself back to Eden, where one is fully aware of the presence of God in the inward parts. It is a state in which a person can believe in heaven, in salvation, in a better world that is out there in the future, and receive a new earth, new way of life and doing things, fresh ideas and new laws, working out ones salvation or making ones way to that city whose picture has been captured by faith. It is a life of possibilities and confident endeavours that bring about expected ends. I went through all that above to be able to make this statement in a way youll understand it, and the statement is that; Practically speaking, to be spiritually alive, born again, have Christ, etc, simply means to have a believing heart; to see possibilities that are not obvious, to see realities that are yet invisible to the senses, to have active faith. There are so many theological and mystical explanations that can be proffered for the concept of being born again, or having Christ, but in simple terms, to be spiritually awake is to have a believing heart. The first taste of active faith, is like the first time a new born baby opens its eyes to let light in. Welcome to the new world of possibilities. #TheGodKindOfLife
