Zacks Home Video Picks (April 1, 2014): 1. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013) - The long-awaited followup to the 2004 original proved to be worthy of the wait, with even more hilariously bizarre antics than before. The role still fits Will Ferrell like a glove, and his co-stars are just as game as him. For the first film, we got the direct-to-video semi-sequel/deleted scene reel called Wake Up, Ron Burgundy. Now the actual sequel got a Super-Sized R-rated Version released briefly in theaters and included on video here. Im excited about the 700+ new jokes. There can never be enough Anchorman. - Extras: Audio commentary, behind the scenes, gag reel, table read, deleted/extended/alternate scenes, auditions, trailers and more - 74% Rotten Tomatoes score - 2-disc Blu-ray is $16.99 at Best Buy and Wal-Mart 2. Fargo (1996) - The Coen Bothers modest classic receives a 4K remaster just in time for the debut of the FX miniseries of the same name. This would be a great time for people to revisit the film, especially if you dont already own the previous Blu-ray. - Extras: There appears to be no new features. Just the same audio commentary, featurette, trailers, etc. - 94% RT score - Blu-ray is $14.99 on Amazon, so if you already own it, probably wait for this remastered version to drop in price. Maybe Costco or Wal-Mart will have it for less.
