Zivaa sweet puppy breath began to stink - really, really stink - a few weeks ago. I changed her food back to what it had been and thought that had done the trick. Then I found swollen glands in her neck. This slow-on-the-uptake doggy mom finally took her to the vet on Monday, and we scheduled an oral exam under sedation today. When I returned our vet said,I have a present for you, and he handed me a capped vial -- in it is the half inch long steel spring he unwound from an inflamed and infected pustule in the back of her mouth. Friday she will have the two teeth removed that were killed by this spring being wedged there. Beats me where the spring came from -- at least I see it is too big to be from my destroyed eyeglass frames or Annes cracked hearing aid .....
