Zonta District 16 SAYS NO TO VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN Since November 25th Clubs throughout New Zealand have been involved in marches, bike rides, putting up displays in libraries, civic buildings, combining with White Ribbon Events, painting towns orange. WE SAY NO TO: One in three women experiencing physical or psychological abuse from a partner in her lifetime 20,000 women and children requiring the help of Womens Refuge in a year in New Zealand Police having to be called to 200 domestic violence situations every day- 84% of those arrested are male, 16% female The Zonta world is united in its global call to end violence against women and girls. Join us in this effort to have everyone living a life free of violence.
