Zoos are terrible places and are outdated and have no place in our world. This zoo must be closed and animals relocated to larger better premises preferably not in HK. This is basic animal rights. What we are showing to everyone is how backward we really are! Now what about the Jockey Club and its abuse of horses? what about Ocean Park and its abuse ? And where do we draw the line with the human rights of foreign domestic helpers ? We sentient beings are all equal - this is the big leap up in rights and we have to do this to save our planet and life as we know it.
