____ S.A Geelani transfers property to Trust______ J/ In a significant decision, ailing Hurriyat (G) leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani on today announced transfer of his entire immovable property to an autonomous and independent trust. The property includes Geelani’s official Hyderpora residence, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat head office building and Millat Publications. “It has remained a tragedy of Kashmir that its leaders have not been held accountable and nobody has raised fingers over their conduct,” Geelani said in a statement. “But I want my person and my party to stay transparent in our dealings with the society.” The Trust comprises of eight (8) people who have been authorized to use the said property for the purposes Tehreek-e-Hurri yat. “Nobody has any claims to anything in these properties,” the statement said.
