a TED talk you should see if you havent, by one of my new heroes, Brené Brown. im currently reading her new book, daring greatly and sending her email updates on exactly how loud i screech/yell/gahhhhh!!! every time i get to a part of her book that i am concurrently writing in my book. its a zeitgeist. its a zeitgeist. luckily, even though she basically already wrote my book and i feel vulnerable about this fact, her book is teaching me how to DEAL WITH THESE FEELINGS OF SHAME AND WORRY. plus, like...shes a PhD and im a statue. so the story comes out SLIGHTLY differently. back to writing. this book is going to be killer. i just have to cut like, oh, 120,000 words from it. luckily my book doula, Jamy Ian Swiss, is sitting next to me and daily kicking my ass. work palmer work *whip crack* *type type type* *muppet at keyboard flail* ted/talks/brene_brown_on_vulnerability
