a chain is only as strong as its weakest link..thomas reid. Father often speaks to me using the illustration of a chain. this week He has used it to show me about trust. what He has given me is: faiths fruit is belief. beliefs fruit is trust. trusts fruit is confidence.confidences fruit is assurance. assurances fruit is faith. this is a chain that develops from our relationship with Him. it is a strong solid circling chain of protection and power that the Holy Spirit radiates through, allowing Him to work uninhibited through us and protecting us from the effects of attacks, as we stand in the middle. it keeps Father moving in our lives, answering our prayers, opening up His Word to us. if we allow our relationship with Him to waver, any one or all of these links will weaken and break. when this happens and that circle is broken. the loose links are vulnerable to satan.he than links up with us, doubt, fear, and any other of his links that will effect us the most to break down our other links so that he can bind to us, thus creating a depressive and oppressive chain of demonic bondage. without surprise the dictionary follows this exact chain. FAITH, Belief; the assent of the mind to the truth of what is declared by another, resting on his authority and veracity, without other evidence; the judgment that what another states or testifies is the truth. I have strong faith or no faith in the testimony of a witness, or in what a historian narrates. An entire confidence or trust in Gods character and declarations, and in the character and doctrines of Christ, with an unreserved surrender of the will to his guidance, and dependence on his merits for salvation. In other words, that firm belief of Gods testimony, and of the truth of the gospel, which influences the will, and leads to an entire reliance on Christ for salvation. BELIEVE, To credit upon the authority or testimony of another; to be persuaded of the truth of something upon the declaration of another, or upon evidence furnished by reasons, arguments, and deductions of the mind, or by other circumstances, than personal knowledge. When we believe upon the authority of another, we always put confidence in his veracity. To expect or hope with confidence; to trust. Belief is opposed to knowledge and science. TRUST, Confidence; a reliance or resting of the mind on the integrity, veracity, justice, friendship or other sound principle of another person. CONFIDENCE, A trusting, or reliance; an assurance of mind or firm belief in the integrity, stability or veracity of another, or in the truth and reality of a fact. ASSURANCE, The act of furnishing any ground of full confidence. Firmness of mind; undoubting steadiness; intrepidity. Faith. Firm persuasion; full confidence or trust; freedom from doubt; certain expectation; the utmost certainty. Holy One. praise, honor and admiration to Your Highness, Whos love is beyond measure. use this life for Your Will and Good Pleasure. Father i ask that You keep me intently focused on You and Your Word. keep the links You have provided me with strong, so i can spend these last days walking and preforming Your Desires. use me, Mighty God, i am Yours. keep me aware of who i am and that my enemy has nothing over me. all is for You. all is for Your Kingdom. in Jesus unfailing name. so be it.
