a comparison I read on some site..just sharing..seems true for some people though.. lModern day children are raised with less rules, less discipline, and less criticism...they grow up to be more confident in themselves, but may lack control, humility, manners, etc. Olden day children were raised with strict rules, the father was a disciplinarian and the mother supported the father. These children were criticized more and corrected more. These children grow up to have their own inner problems such as confidence and self-esteem issues, but they are very together in their exterior world. They are well mannered, behaved, and humble.
