a copy of a Public apology to Michael Allman..... From Craig Ruskey. Id like to offer an open apology to Michael Allman. Last week, while perusing the other forums, I came across a post where a guitar was up for bid at one of his shows. The way the post read suggested to me that Mr. Allman was offering the guitar, which had forged signatures of Duane Allman and Berry Oakley. Apparently, Gregg Allmans signature was also a fake. Before having all the facts, I posted pictures of the guitar with the forged autographs on this forum and implicated Michael - an enormous error on my part. Someone on the forum later mentioned the Buddys Walk charity pins and t-shirt in one of the photos, which I had never heard of prior to seeing that comment. The blame for these forged signatures on the guitar should have been placed with either the Buddys Walk foundation, or the people who donated the guitar for the charity auction. While trying to warn members of the sad fact that these types of forgeries frequently show up on radar, my comments clearly blamed Michael Allman. I openly apologize for this huge error. I should have done some further research on the guitar, the foundation offering the guitar and from whom they acquired it. I would hope that my sincere apology is accepted and that the blame for this mistake be laid at my doorstep and not anywhere else. Thank you. - Craig Ruskey
