a few years ago i ran workshops at ice reel words. the kid gave me so much grief… always running a muck. eventually i offered incentives to reward good behaviour (movie tix) and included the youth in lunch choices… this kid changed almost instantly trying to get the tix… becaming one of our best participants that helped keep the others in check… he luvd music and would often be the 1st to the sessions… he worked with 6, JT, Zehrish and Vuli...he was well known and loved by his peers and the locals… he was a well known fighter at the pcyc… he was a good hearted person… its sad to hear about his passing… here is a snippet of one of the 1st tunes he laid down at ice - dedicated to the local youth of the area….
