a little note from our fishing events co-ordinator mike tye Hi All, Welcome to Paul and Mary Falzon to the Agnes Water Amateur Fishing Club We look forward to catching up with you Well it looks like being a good weekend for fishing according to reports from the lake Monduran Fishing Classic there have been lot of action with plenty of Barra and Bass and some Catfish caught and released over the weekend of the 18th to the 20th October Fishing has been around the weed banks and any timber with lures that rattle and have bright colours lines have been up around the 30lb with 60 lb leaders to stop break offs from decent Barra At Monduran there a 2 boat ramps 1 which you will need to have a 4*4 to retrieve you boat and the other is a concrete ramp with plenty of parking which is about 10 minutes travel from the camp ground There is a boat basin where some people leave their boats overnight so that an early start can be achieved If you are coming to Monduran for the weekend be sure to make a booking at the park ( Dont forget to Mention the Agnes Water Amateur Fishing Club) and you will need a Stocked Impoundment Permit available from the park office The lake Monduran Caravan Park phone number for bookings is 1800988532 there are Powered and Unpowered sites Ratty will have the club banner set up so you will know where we are Those that will be there on Friday night there will be a captains table at 7.00 pm at one of the Camp Kitchens in the park so come along and have something to eat PLEASE NOTE: TIME FOR WEIGH-IN 9.00am at the park Contact Roger if you need a weigh in prior to this time Looking forward to catching up with as many members as possible Happy Fishing Mike Tye
