a little while ago I was approached by a news anchor man. He asked If I knew whos emergency management vehicle that was because he wanted to pull his crew truck up. I offered to move it over so he could get by. He laughed a little and said, I could have moved it myself (because it was running) but............Anyway, he looked pretty uncomfortable until he saw me go back inside and stand with the Deputy Chief. When I came back out, the man asked, Are you with the Fire Dept? I said, Yes, I am with Emergency Management He laughed, shook my hand and said, I was wondering why you moved the truck! Then he added, I thought you were a NEWS REPORTER Since I was soaking wet like a drowned rat, I imagine it was my gender that made him suspect that and not my LOVELY appearance :)
