Im celebrating two events today. I moved here one year ago and guess where I went this morning on my walmart bike thats like dragging bricks at 5:55 am. To the Santa Rosa DMV. Short version: I got my license today. Long version: I was there at 7:20 AM they opened at 8:00; I was about the first 10 people, luckily I was helped right away and then the first hurdle of the day. Progressive Insurance forgot to include some stuff. I had to quit and leave the DMV to call Progressive. I dont have a phone. I thought all was lost for the day, and then I asked a person in line If I could use there phone, it would take about 3 minutes and they said sure. I called and got my stuff faxed to the DMV. Paperwork, then off to window g5. Paid $160, then off to window g14 to get my drivers license photo. Then the test! 18 questions a squirrel could answer. Actually there was allot of new stuff. I read the book on the way there, it nearly put me to sleep, Note incase you cant sleep get the DMV test book. I passed with 100%. I gave the papers to the lady, she printed my unrestricted license and Im 100% legal to drive. Woot woot. Its been 4 years 11 months and 22 days since I last drove. I was able to show my iPhone game app to some people on the bus and they liked it. Today I have to build my icons for the iPad version of my game. I have some more treatment to do on the design and the copy. Cycle 10 miles and 3 hours of Bus rides. I had use some of my rent money to buy an iPod 5 touch to release my game and I actually love it. Photos are from that device. In an effort to not give myself any excuse, Im not talking about my game until release. Total silence on my game, like Fargo the movie, total silence.
