a poem dedicated to the heroes of this land my eyes have seen the anguish and pain in the hearts of men who have lost sons in battles not their own even in triumph there is no gain mothers cry with no end widows in black and red red eyes blinded by blood their hearts empty and sad the children lef behind barely can they stand. is there no way of ending it this meaningless fight, devouring all, for and against and the ones left? are left feeling lost. how we pray for comfort in arms united we stand with hope and faith in our hearts that with the coming of the night the bloodshed will end and peace may once more prevail AS A NEW DAY DAWNS thank yu God for answering our prayers
