a song for Flashback Friday.....a 1966 performance showcasing a Marty Balin composition & first single from the group filmed at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Fransisco featuring their original line-up which was made up of singer/songwriter/guitarist Balin..Jorma Kaukonen & Paul Kantner on additional guitars..Jerry Peloquin on drums..Bob Harvey on bass..and Signe Toly Anderson on vocals. Anderson left the the group after only one year with the band to be a full-time mother to her newborn daughter & was replaced by Grace Slick who was with Great Society & who had also been a friend to the band after having opened for them in shows in the past. (Video (although recorded over) gives a cool sense of what it must have really been like to have seen the group in concert in musics finest era....enjoy!)
