a volunteer writes: Cute little Chubby had a MOP hold the other night, but he is still at Brooklyn ACC and now back on the list. Is there anyone whos serious about saving his life, out there? A volunteer writes: Hi! Im Chubby! The irony is, I am anything BUT chubby! I am just a little guy, only about 35 pounds. Volunteers here say that I look like a giant Chihuahua with my little head and ears that stick up every which way. My personality, on the other hand, is far from small. Maybe thats where the chubby name came from! Volunteers say I am a total sassafrass in my kennel, talking to get attention from anyone who walks by. But once out of my kennel, I become a calmer, more endearing guy to be around. I walk nicely on the leash, and like to periodically check in with my handler to get some petting and attention. I am playful around other dogs and seem to enjoy their company. Volunteers have also noticed that I keep my kennel clean and may be housetrained. Basically, I am a great dog and will make an awesome companion!
