act as if 3 of the most powerful words. Fake it until you make it an exercise in preparation for any discipline. As a coach I use to tell my players that if you want to be a winner you need to act as if you already are! Act as if you are a fierce competitor, could stay out there all day long, love the battle, you are the player to beat. Our Faith is exactly the same thing! Faith is acting as if God has already answered your prayer. So many time we are waiting for God to show up before we ACT! But Faith requires us to take Action. Its like Potential, potential is Gods gift to us, what we turn that potential into is our gift back to God. That potential is linked to our purpose, that potential is laced with our talents and gifts, but that potential requires action, without it, it is just another what could of, should of been. So what is action? Its saying yes, its stepping into the arena, getting out of the bleachers, stepping into the circle, action is the willingness to fail, to get dirty, to look foolish. Like Noah, Peter, Sarah, Moses, what is God commanding you to do? What opportunities has He put in your path that you are backing away from? Where all you can here is the naysayers, you cant, you wont, what are you thinking? God never brings us into anything that He isnt committed to filling the gap for you. As a Earthly father I know how great my desire is help my daughters to be successful, to accomplish their goals, now think about your Heavenly Father, the creator of all, and how much He wants you to fulfill your Potential, your Purpose. Nothing is to big for our God, He can do this in His sleep, 1 hand tied behind His back, eyes closed, in one breath, you get my point, He isnt the wildcard here, our Action, our Faith, we are the deal breakers, not God! The path of least resistance never gets us to our destination. When we take shortcuts they turn into Cul-De-Sacs and we just keep running in circles. If we want to make waves, real impact, we need to be willing to go out of MY way. To break out of my ruts, same process doesnt produce NEW results. If you go out of YOUR way for God, He will go out of HIS way for you! God never gives up on us. No matter what your gift is, what art form you use, what tool you use, when you use it as an act of obedience, it Glorifies God! Life isnt The Great Race, it doesnt matter how fast we get there, what matters is how far and high we go, and it matters WHO we become in the process. Act As If!
