@adele967 FYI The early winter weather and the large volume of yard waste has created waste collection challenges. All garbage, recycling and yard waste trucks are on the roads, however, despite all our best efforts, some areas are experiencing waste collection delays. Collection crews for garbage, green bin and recycling are running behind and may be delayed. If items have not been collected by 7 p.m. on your scheduled day, residents are asked to bring waste items back in for the night and to set out again by 7 a.m. the next day. All garbage, green bin and recycling collection routes should be completed by end of day Friday. Yard waste collection is also experiencing delays. Yard waste trucks continue to move through collection routes and all routes should be completed by end of day Saturday. Up-to-date collection information can be found on our website, regionofwaterloo.ca/waste. For continued collection issues, residents can call our 24-hour Customer Service number, 519-575-4400.
