after 25 years of living in a home equipped with cable television, i finally decided to discontinue the service and rely solely on streaming. now, this might not seem like a big deal, but as someone who probably clocks in a weekly tv average comparable to a mid-western trailer park homemaker, this is huge. so, i say goodbye proactive and ronco infomercials. adios banshee-like network test alerts. ciao morning television (particularly the ‘diabehdez’ man during the price is right). 再见 ryan seacrest. and with those farewells, i probably should have done this years ago.
