...again, do you know, that the principal rationale for the existence of the Tier 1 (Basic National Pension scheme) operated by SSNIT on a Defined Benefit basis (as it was before Act 766) is to be, at the minimum, the safety-net at the state-level? Tier 1 is supposed to be the states hedge against the potential risk of a/the private-sector managed Pension Funds collapsing/failing. Even then, we know that SSNIT has over the years succeeded in mismanaging the Scheme. So, if any government official tells you that they MUST, either directly and/or through a proxy, ALSO control your Tier 2 Pensions in the name of avoiding the risk of private-sector managed funds failing, that can only be a story fit for mermaids. A complete LIE!
