ah! these early morning ramblings! who comes to your house regarding services? this is who came to mine. The ice man delivered blocks of ice for your cooler limited refrigeration, he would strike off a shard for us kids, cold and pretty cool. the baker, ah! bread still warm and fresh. the milkman who delivered full cream milk, the cream sitting on top in the glass bottle. the fisho in his truck once a week. the haberdashery van, clothes, sewing stuff and materials. the green grocer, truck loaded with fruit and veges. the bottle"o man who would collect all glass bottles, jars etc, he made a living and no rubbish laying about. the money collector who came with a book and took your weekly payment for goods on time payment from department stores. the small goods man. unsure as to whether there was ever a butcher! the mailman oh! and lets not forget the dunnyman. now of course it"s you who has to go out to their place
