ahhh crap. i am getting worried that this book is heading down a path i was trying to avoid. I am getting wordy with the first meeting of the 2 characters. i was trying to avoid that. will people really want to know all this interaction leading up to the main events? its like a derby race, all the build up for a quick race. i guess i can just get the words out and go back chopping it later. just have to make sure what i chop in the beginning doesnt mess up the flow later.
