all I can say is that with all of the changes in my life as of lately I am very thankful for the slow pace lifestyle that Im leading at the moment. I joke with my girls about going to the big city when I leave the island for an overnight but the reality is we dont make time for some of the most simplest things in the daily grind and further more take it for granted. Ive been forced to time my life around a very strict ferry schedule (as you know time in Jenn world doesnt exist because every min I share with you is an experience and you cant put a time limit or price on that) Ive missed the ferry late night a few times and kayaked across only to find myself in the most peaceful of states starring in awe over how beautiful the night is. I heat water on the stove to wash dishes by hand and hang my clothes out to dry in the fresh air,I cant stream a you tube video without it stopping to buffer and I cant even take a full shower without running out of hot hot water but I guess what Im trying to get at is there are too many moments we let slip from our grasp because we have our noses deep in our phones or we are eating in the car drive thru style rushing to our next appointment. SLOWDOWN! when was the last time you just listened to the birds (Im doing it right now) be thankful for every thing around you its the greatest gift of all that you get to experience some of lifes most simplest pleasures.
