all right, lets start from the very beginning (Wouldnt that make a catchy tune?). Huge thanks to Debbie Puffpaff Godfrey for stalking people and coming up with addresses, phone numbers, and email. Most especially for being my rock when we both needed to just walk away for a day or two. To Darcy McCandless for doing the 8 zillion (well, maybe only 7) spreadsheets and changing the format every 10 minutes. To Janet Begrow Chambers and her Executive Assistant Michael Fochtman for the awesome name badges. To Nina Lundteigen Wager and RaeAnne RaeAnne S Slone for compiling the list and sending out invites to our teachers. To Linda Johnson (Who was not present at the reunion. You were missed, Linda) for helping track people down. To Esther Moore for providing a meeting room, wifi, and notecards. To Patti Jo Resch-Marsh for helping when she could and her undying support and cheerleading! To Patti Left and Terry Left for allowing us to take up space on a Saturday night in the Villager Pub. Most of all, thanks to Brian and Connie Crain Schnupp. Connie pressed Brian into service. We have him to thank for the great graphics, the poster of our graduation picture, photo shopping people into the group pic. Connie for all you middleman services after we bombarded Brians work email with our foolishness. Next, a great big shout of thanks to Marian Van Koevering, Debby Powell Jennex, and Bryan VanLoo for organizing 2 golf outings. We had a blast Friday. Not too many players, due to it being Friday and some people actually had to work (can you imagine?? Working Venetian Week? Sad). We are going to try to play every year. The Mallard is a beautiful course. OK, unofficial thanks to the Alumni Businesses who made donations for our golf outing.(Handwritten cards will be going out this week). Please stop in and say hi, spend a little money, and thank them for their support. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Terry & Patti Left and The Villager Pub, Jacquie Mabee Dipert and the Clothing Company, Kirby Dipert and Charlevoix Wear, Celeste and Leon Perron and Celeste Murdicks Fudge, Patrice Staley and J Phillips for donating some of the prizes for the golf. Huge thanks to Arnold and the staff at The Mallard Golf Club. They treated us like family, the course was fun, and the food was AWESOME! Friday night Prime Rib! A return trip is for sure in order. Thanks to Marrell Staffel for trying to get us all to stand still, shut up, listen, and quit screwing around so she could take our picture. She almost got us quieted down..... Finally (Everyone is going whew, just shut up already), The Weathervane. Jennifer for her patience while we tried to decide on the menu, her expertise and professionalism replying to a gazillion emails. Her staff, who were on top of everything, right there at our beck and call. The food was wonderful, and the chefs were great about keeping everything refilled. If you have any complaints about the service, or the food, or the drinks, suck it up cupcake. Its over ;) . If I have forgotten anyone, please let me know. I think everyone had a good time. I know I did. It was so good to see everyone. Thank you for joining us. I know a lot of you traveled long distances. To me that alone makes it really special.
