The Endowment intends to raise €30 million in order to secure 150 permanent scholarships. UWC Mostar is a ground-breaking and inspirational educational project in Bosnia Herzegovina. Unlike any other school in the country, Catholic Croats, Orthodox Serbs and Muslim Bosniaks study and live together in order to bridge the ethnic divisions which have plagued the country for so long. Each Scholarship Endowment will cost €200,000 and assuming a target return of 5%, it will finance the annual cost of one student into perpetuity. The Endowment aims to secure the long-term financial stability of UWC Mostar thereby guaranteeing the continuation of its outstanding performance into the far future.
