The Horror Genre has been going through a recession over the years. Blood and Gore hasnt been the same since the late 90s. With Grim I was trying to create my own bogeyman. Drawing from classic horror villains such as Michael Myers, Freddy Kruger, Jason Vorhees, Pinhead, and Candyman. I wanted it to be realistic though, with a hood flare. Hopefully Ive succeeded in causing some of my readers to lose a few nights of sleep. In the likes of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Clive Barker, and many of horrors greats, Im attempting to resurrect the genre and add to it an urban swag.
