amongst others: - eating at a Mexican restaurant...this waitress comes over and pours syrup in my water, tells me it adds to the flavor and to mix it in, then tells me sotto voce the place has gone down hill and might even give me food poisoning...i have hummus and chicken quesadillas and eat avocado slices from off the table...after waiting on a subway, my father tells me im a true musician air-drumming to music in my head most notably THRAK. - im on vacation with a few friends; waking up, that day, in a supermarket where im reminded of a dream i had (based off of being awoke from a song through the current PAs speaker) detailing the joke, least i think joke, of that old college roommate you had whod come in playing this same awful cliche riff and ask while toking, hey man i borrowed your _____ hope you don mind! the others laugh and say theyre bored...any protests we can go to today? were feeling real social and politico like! i ask/tell the manager as he looks at me strangely with his mouth stuffed with protruding kale.
