and the comment of the night goes to.... ME ...there is a difference between having an opinion and stating something which is an untruth as a fact when that untruth is damaging to people, continues a myth and causes blatant anti-semitism. Unfortunately untruths are often masked as a persons opinion. But if they are not true they are not true. Arguing them does not mean you are patronising or intolerant and the need to defend and educate is VERY important. Its like saying that if people were talking about the blood libel, to argue with them is patronising... they are entitled to their opinion. The blood libel never happened (FACT). Gaza is not the most densely populated area on earth (FACT), the Palestinians are not kept in refugee camps by Israelis (FACT), Israel does not occupy Gaza (FACT)... you see where I am going... saying these things over and over again is NOT an opinion. Discussing whether Israel could have found a more humane way to deal with the rocket attacks IS an opinion....
