anniversary of Sardar Abdur Rab Nishtar published in Pakistan Observer Saturday, February 16, 2013 - Karachi— Sardar Abdur Rab Nishtar was one of great intellectuals in struggle of freedom movement and had struggled for acquisition of Pakistan in his entire life with sincerity and patriotism and performed a vital role for stability of the country due to which his name would ever remain alive in the history of Indo-Pak sub-continent. People belong to various sectors of life expressed these views in a seminar in memory of Nishtar on his 55th death anniversary held in Civic Centre under Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC). Former Ambassador Pakistan Shahid Amin was Special Guest of Seminar whereas Prof. Dr. Majeedullah Qadri, President of Karachi Bar Association Naeem Qureshi Advocate, Chairperson of Geography Department Federal Urdu University Prof. Shazia Naz, Begum Salman Ahmed, Director Media Management Department KMC Ali Hassan Sajid and Arshad Sabri were speakers in Seminar. Nishtar was given marvelous tribute in Seminar.Shahid Amin on this occasion said Nishtar was a great person and Quaid-e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah also had trust in him.
