another good day (followed by a bad night - food poisoning). best show was Miyoko Ito at Adam Baumgold (adambaumgoldgallery). she has been a favorite of mine for many years. also good: Nicholas Carone at Washburn (washburngallery), Liliane Tomasko at Leslie Feely (lesliefeely), and Lee Krasner and Norman Lewis at the Jewish Museum (thejewishmuseum.org/exhibitions/from-the-margins). also good from wednesday that i forgot to mention was Irving Petlin at Kent (kentfineart.net/exhibitions). looking forward to the opening tonight at The Painting Center! hopefully by going early we can avoid the mad crush.
