as a former soccer COACH -and- soccer mom, im offended by her ignorance of the sport. her opinion is her own, and ill show her the respect she foregoes sharing with others and allow her room to have it... i find golf and basketball extremely boring, but i dont think the people who are golf and bball fanatics are in moral decay. In soccer, the blame is dispersed and almost no one scores anyway. There are no heroes, no losers, no accountability, and no child’s fragile self-esteem is bruised... bc that is what happens when you play a TEAM sport Annie *eye roll* if you want to watch a sport with individual accountability as a part of play how about tennis? and you can only score what? 4 times and those matches go on for hours...back and forth, back and forth, back and forth....(no shame to tennis folks, just for emphasis) and what about regattas/crew races? whose fault is it if the crew isnt rowing/synced and they lose by what -- tenths of seconds? but Yale and Princeton liberals dont make the cut on your assessment of team sports? SMH
