(C ) A critique of the Liberal party in regards to the speculation surrounding reducing the threshold at which online purchases are subject to the GST, and even a possible GST increase: We should be reducing the size of government, reducing taxes and fostering more free enterprise to meet peoples needs rather than the state, while getting Government out of peoples personal choices when those choices to not violate the natural rights of others (i.e.: getting the Government out of marriage and legalisation of cannabis). The Liberal party needs to get back to the Classical Liberalism philosophy on which is was founded rather than being Big Government Conservatives (as opposed to Big Government pseudo-Socialism in the ALP and Greens). This is how the Liberal party can win millions of votes from under 25s, and follow the only political philosophy which ensures the greatest individual freedom, rights and prosperity for all.
