as a heads up i got this from the cgn president looked interesting. Hi Chris Im going to put together an article on the demonstration teams available to GCN (and other) clubs for the New Year. As we expand the Discounts and Offers it seems appropriate. So far the teams that I know of and are available are... Sarge (Warlord) Bolt Action/Black Powder, possibly Judge Dredd Rangers (Battlefront) Flames of War. There are also Dust Demo teams available Pathfinders (Mantic) Kings of War/Deadzone/Dreadball/Mars Attacks Crusaders (Prodos) Warzone Resurrection Rangers (Tor) Relics Privateers (Privateer Press) Hordes/Warmachine I believe there is also a Malifaux demo team but I cannot remember the name. The fact is that these groups will come out and bring games to clubs to demonstrate them (obviously there is a commercial interest involved, companies hope that members will go on to buy the product!) and clubs get a free game demo. Marry this to the increased D & O for ones such as Warlord and Mantic and clubs might just see outside the GW universe... I honestly dont think enough clubs take them up on this. There might even be some mileage in setting up a regional event and inviting a number of demo teams over. Regards Dave
