assuming these facts are all accurate, this is extremely upsetting. the article states that a medical journal published an article by a physician in 1998 reporting that vaccines cause autism, only to learn years later that the physician had fabricated all of his findings. since then, more than 14 million children have been studied, and no link has been found between vaccines and autism. yet 25 percent of US parents believe some vaccines cause autism. ive read that in several wealthy LA communities, vaccination rates parallel those in developing countries. this is putting all kids--those vaccinated and those not vaccinated--at unnecessary and dangerous risk. this year alone the LA Times has reported more than 60 cases of measles in CA--four times the level a year ago. parents need to do what they think is best for their kids but please be informed about the decisions you are making and the consequences of those decisions on your own kids and others. study after study has shown that vaccines are completely safe.
