believing in aliens doesnt mean that humans do not come from earth - the whole notion of what we mean by come from is interesting .. in one sense, were are you from ?, seeks to understand a persons culture, beliefs and discourses, as if knowing their historical path can illuminate facets of their character Nationalistically, the question, where are you from ?, refers to the national identity of the geographic space within which we took our first breath Genetically, of course, we are all, out of Africa, and there isnt a human on earth that has not emerged from that primary geographical space, in terms of the pathway of their DNA Those of us whos ancestors took the European route may have some non-human neanderthal DNA in the mix too :) (you can just so easily tell, right :D !! ) The pan-spermia theory holds the view that the seeds of life travel across interstellar space; between planets, or even between Solar systems (not sure about galaxies), on meteors, asteroids or comets and if conditions are right when they land somewhere, the DNA they carry is the spark for starting life Very plausible and impossible to verify or dismiss with any certainty - however, knowing that the water on earth may have come from Neptune, that DNA comes from outside our Solar system, that the hydrogen and dust that forms our Sun, that anything and everything comes from somewhere other than Earth, does not change the fact that if you took your first breath upon this Earth, then, you are an Earthling - no matter where your ancestors have been, nor where your soul has incarnated in times past. in another sense, we are all creatures post-big bang, we are children of Time where are you from ? Here :) no, I mean where are you From ?? Now :) x
