#bibleversechallenge I love the whole chapter of 1 Cor 13. In the end, our ministry, our choices, our job and our endless pursuit of excellence in the path we have chosen, if not motivated by love, IS NOTHING. Verses 3-7 describes this LOVE. Lest we mistake love for emotions, this is such a necessity. Seems like a tough nut to crack? I John 4:19 We love because he first loved us. And the amazing thing is, His LOVE is never dependent on our strength to follow through with our faith and love for Him. Not dependent on how well we keep our vows. Romans 8:38 says Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. So please, Let us QUIT running away from this LOVE. And I hold on to these truths and I hold on to these promises for me, for my family and for everyone that I hold dear! Ikaw, ano favorite verse/verses mo? So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love. Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. Love doesn’t strut, Doesn’t have a swelled head, Doesn’t force itself on others, Isn’t always “me first,” Doesn’t fly off the handle, Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others, Doesn’t revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end. Too long to quote, here is the link: https://biblegateway/passage/?search=1+Corinthians+13&version=MSG Romans 8:31-39 New Living Translation (NLT) Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love 31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? 33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. 34 Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. 35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”[a]) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. 38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
