This song is not a lullaby, it is a song-benediction, which was written for the play Taglarnyng altyn pubayy (Golden Cradle of Mountain Spirits of Alisa Kyzlasova, which was staged by A.M.Topanov Khakas National Drama Theater in 1990`s Abakan, Khakas Republic. The phrase altyn pubay (Golden Cradle) means our planet Earth and the words khuray-khuray, altyn pubay! are good wishes in her address. The play tells the story of the fate of Tag Khyzy (daughter of the mountain spirits) and the young brave, kut (spirit) of whom was gifted to lonely old man and old woman by the goddess Umay.
