Conscience clause bill would allow businesses to discriminate against LGBT people under guise of religion This is what they are really saying and if thats what they want...they are well within their rights...right? IIUC, the 14th amendment doesnt (yet) extend equal protection to the LGBT community with regard to being denied services because of ones superstitious inclinations. The Catholics do this and are/have been getting away with it for absolutely centuries. *Please, somebody smarter than me provide evidence that there is no way such legislation is constitutional in this day and age.
