bron - yr - aur More than just an instrumental song by Led Zeppelin, it was a cottage on the outskirts of Wales owned by the Plant family. There Robert Plant suggested that he and Jimmy Page go to as sort of a musical getaway in 1970. Although it had no running water or electricity this would be the birthplace of many great Zeppeln song such as Over the Hills and Far Away the Crunge and lets not forget the misspelled song of bron - y - aur stomp one of my all time favorite Zeppelin hits. Page himself has said that this cottage was the place where he and Robert Plant really got to know each other. It was a time period that truly changed the band for their upcoming Led Zeppelin III album and beyond. It was also said by Page himself that his daughter Scarlet Page was conceived within thirty minutes of them writing the tune The the Way in Bron - Yr - Aur.
