building a fire and listening to cheap trick the latest. it got me to thinking. no one buys records anymore but do they listen. this record is outstanding with a dynamite cover of slades when the lights are out. this stands in my ears with any of their records from their golden era but outside of underground garage fans, who has heard it? they arent the only ones the rolling stones a bigger bang was unarguably their best in years. who heard it? am i the only one out there that hasnt given up on new music by classic artist? i doubt it but sometimes it gets a little lonesome out here. i was thinking of a top ten from last year and i was up to 15 or 20 solid records. new records not just by kids but by gentleman and ladies who have been at it for years. wasnt it the band via chuck willis who said, i dont want to hang up my rock n roll shoes.
