***call out 18/03/14. 1250hrs*** HBCG were called out to Seasalter after a local resident spotted an inflatable dinghy drifting approx 3/4 mile from the shore. Whitstable lifeboat launched and recovered the partially inflated craft and then proceeded to search an area in the swale to see if anybody was in the water, whilst the coastguard searched the beach. After a thorough search and further investigations all services were instructed to return to station and the search was terminated. Many thanks to whitstable RNLI for their quick response
