calvaryslc@aol John 4:15 through John 4:19 15The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.” 16Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.” 17The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’ 18for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly.” As one comes to seek, to receive, Jesus leads us gently to the place where we realize our need. This woman’s need is love. She has been used, thrown aside, her worth is in the gutter. Jesus reveals our need to us so that He can fill that need. What is the lack in your life today that He is showing you? Where are those areas in your life that the world or those around have left you so empty?
